Dear all friends and lovely students,
Here we have selected some highlights for your revision of our wedding.
Thanks God for the wonderful chairman, bible readers, praying team, witnesses, speech, organists, pianists, orchestra, choir, conductors, singers, flower boys and flower girls, helpers, photographers, video takers, colleagues, DGJS and DGS parents, our teachers, friends, brother team, sister team and our families. We knew some of you did help and we even don't know you have done for us! We are too excited and we even forgot to thanks all of you at the spot. Please let us express our sincerely gratitude to you, especially to Noo (Our wedding PIC) for her continuous encouragements, tolerance, prayers and support to us through these years.
Our greatest thanks would like to give to our God, our father who teach us to love and loves us so much! April and Chester both did cry in our ceremony. We cried because we were so happy and touched by all the nice preparations from God to us.
For example:
(1) The rain stopped before we arrived the church.
(2) Miss Tam finally found out ways to solve the problem of the huge size of the orchestra. It was put at the left side perfectly! (We did prayed a lot for this before as it seems impossible to have a 33-player orchestra in such a small venue. Thanks Prof Victor Chan for his kindly help as well!)
(3) While the orchestra was placed perfectly there, the choir was also placed perfectly. We have borrowed from two churches the angel gowns. It happened that they looked the same which we have never planned! (Thanks Noo for rushing here and there to arrange the angel gowns.)
(4) We don't know it was the 15-anniversary for Rev Mosses Mok Hing Wan and Mrs Mok the day before our marriage. They spoke to the audience about their 15-year love story which was so convincing, amazing and unforgettable. At the same time, their words recalled memories of audiences - we should be aware of our tongue. As the Bible said, a poor tongue can kill.
We could really feel that God with us. May God's name be glorified in our wedding.
We also put at our heart the four big letters by Dr Kevin Mok Kong Ting:
A= appreciation, L = Loyalty, C = Communication, and N = Nutrition
We will post the wonderful speech by Dr. Mok here later. It is really so inspiring.
Glory to God, Amen!
In Christ,
April and Chester
